ESC-R-150
The ESC-R-150 is a compact electronic speed controller for brushless motors in drones, electric vehicles and robotics. It runs ESCape32 firmware and combines motor control with onboard current and temperature monitoring.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Operating voltage | 15–60 V |
| Sustained at 50 V, with a heatsink | 120 A / 6 kW |
| Peak at 50 V, with a heatsink | 150 A / 7.5 kW for 3 seconds |
| Throttle inputs | PWM and bidirectional DShot300/600 |
| Configuration | Serial, or ExpressLRS and TBS radios over CRSF |
| Board size | 62.26 × 31.37 mm |
| Weight | 25 g |
ESCape32 gives you adjustable PWM frequency, startup behavior, braking and motor direction. Configure the controller over a wired serial connection or, after a one-time setup, straight from a compatible radio through the standard ExpressLRS Lua script — no vendor app and no flight-controller passthrough.
The board is built on eight layers with 4 oz copper throughout, around an STM32G431 microcontroller, with current and temperature sensing on board.

PDB 500 HotSwap
The PDB 500 HotSwap distributes battery power to four motor controllers and provides regulated outputs for onboard electronics. Its two battery inputs let one battery keep the system powered while the other is replaced.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Battery inputs / power outputs | 2 inputs / 4 outputs |
| Supported batteries | 6S–13S LiPo (21.0–54.6 V) |
| Total current rating | 500 A, both inputs sharing the load |
| Current rating per power output | 125 A |
| Regulated outputs | 5 V, 12 V and 15 V, up to 3 A per rail |
| Board size | 95.81 × 60.55 mm |
Ideal-diode controllers combine the two battery inputs and keep either battery from feeding into the other, so the system stays live through a battery change. Reduce the load before a swap; the Quick Start Guide covers the procedure.
The regulated outputs run a flight controller, camera, video transmitter or other onboard equipment. The 5 V and 12 V rails cover the whole supported battery range; use an 8S–13S pack if your installation needs the 15 V rail.

ESC-R HD Capacitor
The ESC-R HD Capacitor is a compact ceramic capacitor bank for the ESC-R-150. Mounted at the controller’s power input, it adds local capacitance to the DC bus.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Nominal capacitance | 500 µF |
| Capacitor voltage rating | 100 V |
| Weight | 30 g |
The board carries fifty 10 µF ceramic capacitors rated at 100 V and mounts at the controller’s power input.

Prog Tool
The Prog Tool brings ESC-R-150 bootloader recovery, firmware updates and serial configuration together on one board. Its built-in programmer and serial adapter connect to your computer through a single USB-C cable.
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| Computer connection | USB-C |
| Bootloader recovery | SWD programmer, running Black Magic Debug |
| Firmware updates and configuration | USB-to-serial bridge with a built-in one-wire adapter |
| ESC connection | Direct-fit PhotonDrive programming header |
| Board size | 76.3 × 55.9 mm |
The ESC seats straight onto the board — no cable to make up and no adapter to build. The one-wire circuit that otherwise has to be assembled from a transistor and a diode is already on it.
An internal USB hub keeps the debug interface and the serial bridge available at the same time, so you can recover a bootloader, flash firmware and open the serial console in one session without touching the wiring.

ESC-A-150
The ESC-A-150 is a legacy brushless motor controller available from remaining clearance stock. It supports up to 6S LiPo (25.2 V fully charged). Documentation is available for existing owners. For new designs, explore the ESC-R-150.
